Recalling or rolling back a release of manufacturing server items in Altium 365 follows a structured process due to its revision control system.
The Manufacture section of a managed project contains Project Releases, which include various output configurations from the project's output job files. These releases can be shared with users both inside and outside the organization via email. Because they are frozen upon release as server items under revision control, they cannot be modified or removed.
If adjustments are necessary—such as changing the revision naming scheme or modifying lifecycle definitions—the best approach is to release the project as a new server item package.
For users with Pro or Enterprise subscriptions, an alternative option exists: instead of deleting previous revisions, they can be hidden by changing their lifecycle status.
Solution Details
A managed project's Manufacture section contains Project Releases of various outputs configured from the Project's output job files that can be shared to any user's email address, both inside and outside of the company/organization.
For this reason, the releases are frozen as server items under revision control system in the workspace, and the revisions cannot be altered or removed thereafter.
If adjustments need to be made to the revision's naming scheme or lifecycle definition assignment, you will need to release the project as a new server item package.
With subscription level of Pro and Enterprise, 'Visible in Valut panels' switch can be ticked off for a particular lifecycle, so that once the revision is set to the lifecycle (e.g. Abandoned), it does not appear by default:
